Freeway Academy is leading provider of ONLINE Security Guards Training Course and First Aid & CPR Courses in Ontario.
Aim of the Course
To train newly inducted Security Guards as per guidelines given by Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. Refer Course syllabus below for details.
Eligibility for Getting Security Guard License
Students are responsible to check their eligibility to get a Security Guard License before Enrollment on Course. They must meet following Conditions:
- Be 18 years old or older.
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada..
- Have a clean criminal record according to Ontario Regulation 37/08, pursuant to the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005
- Complete the mandatory basic training and Pass the Ministry Administered test for security guards.
Recognizing that individuals lead busy lives, our Online Basic Security Training course is designed to be self-paced, comprised of ten modules. To successfully complete the course, students must finish all ten online modules, which equate to approximately 32 hours of training.
Following completion of the online modules, students are required to attend an eight-hour First Aid / CPR Level C Certification course to acquire the necessary skills for emergency situations. Our Online BST course is a convenient option, providing learners with the flexibility to fit training around their schedules.
